In August 2010 Solar Semi Engineering Ltd (part of the Thompson Group of Companies) purchased Edwards CME Ltd (Newhaven) from Edwards Ltd.

In order to help maximise our profile for our customers benefit, the Edwards CME site will run in conjunction with the Solar Semi Engineering Ltd website (www.solsemi.com) for a period of time.

Our company specialises in the design and manufacture of manual, semi auto and fully automated chemical wet process benches, cleaning stations, wafer Pre-wash & De-glue stations and dosing units built to customer specifications.

Using our considerable experience in the semiconductor, microelectronics and PhotoVoltaics fields, we are able to provide a full range of turnkey projects and specialised equipment to meet your requirements.

Solar Semi Engineering specialise in the design and manufacture of Manual, Semi-Auto and Fully Automated Chemical Wet Process Benches, Cleaning (and de-glueing) Stations and Chemical Delivery and Dosing Systems.

We are able to provide a full range of turnkey projects and specialised equipment to meet the ever demanding requirements of our customers.
The needs of our customers throughout this time period have led us to develop a range of Chemical Process Equipment ranging from Manual Wet Process Benches through Semi Automated Wet Process Benches and on to Fully Automated Wet Process Benches.

To accompany our range of Wet Process equipment we also manufacture Cleaning Stations in both manual and automated derivatives.

Our range of Chemical Delivery & Dosing Systems provide a safe means of accurately delivering chemicals to process tools and lowers the risk of dangerous chemical spillage.

We can Supply our Wet Process Benches, Chemical Dosing Modules and most of our Chemical Process Equipment in a range of materials ranging from Polypropylene or FM4910 compliant plastics through to Stainless Steel for Solvent Applications.
