EFI - Earth Fault Indicators

C-Matic Systems have designed and continue to manufacture a range of Electronic Earth Fault Indicators (EFI) for a leading UK provider of equipment for use in high voltage (HV) networks.
This product range includes units of all levels of sophistication to meet a number of different requirements and budgets; from a simple battery-less device that uses discrete logic and a low power mechanical indicator through to microcontroller based devices capable of over-current detection and increased automation.
All EFIs are designed to operate in electrical substations where they are subjected to harsh electromagnetic and environmental conditions.

SAT - Soil and Asphalt Tester

C-Matic Systems design and manufacture an electronic control unit (ECU) for a leading international provider of Construction Materials Testing Equipment.
The ECU is used in conjunction with a mechanical soil strength test station to provide standardised data logging and analysis of soil samples thus ensuring test integrity and accuracy. It also serves to protect the test station by checking for correct setup and operation.
The design features an advanced digital signal controller (DSC) and uses surface mount technology throughout.

SPN - Single Phase Nodes

Single Phase Nodes (SPN's) are an original C-Matic Systems product, designed and manufactured at our Crowborough facility.
This instrument was developed to monitor 16/32/63 amp single phase loads, providing further resolution of load levels further down the electrical infrastructure of a building.
The concept is a small, full function power meter node that can be installed at any point on the low power distribution system.
SPN's are produced in 12/18/21/24/27 way carrier strips. They are installed adjacent to Miniature Circuit Breakers fitted into standard distribution board pan-assemblies.
This product is becoming widely used for data centre applications for monitoring at PDUs (Power Distribution Units) levels for individual rack feeds. More.. 		SPN

Unit Injector Test Control System

This complete system is used to test and control injectors in a diesel engine. It utilises an industrial PC with additional acquisition cards as the main processing, coupled with a touch screen display for simple control in any environment. This is a one off bespoke design and full custom build.
