Silver Wedding Anniversary: Dinner Invitation

The ask

Not everything pays well. Or at all… But often these jobs can turn out to be the best. Case in point, a silver wedding anniversary invitation for one of our staff’s oldest friends. He had the perfect night planned – all he needed was to hook the guests.

The task

The event was classic London – twice around the London Eye in a private pod, followed by dinner at the Oxo Tower. The obvious starting point for the invitation was silver. It is from there that things got interesting. The vessel was designed to resemble a gift box, normally housing a watch or a bracelet. However, inside, the guests found an invitation, presented as a menu, which we had screenprinted and scored. They were all hand-finished with the invitation tied together with – what else – silver braided thread.

The proof

The result. The guests were impressed (we know, we asked every one of them!), and the couple are still going strong. As is the friendship…
