Il bottaio, una delle arti quasi scomparse, ancora è praticata da qualche parte nel mondo, compreso quì in Umbria. La professione che da il suo nome alle famiglie Inglesi Cooper. Una mattina ho visto il bottaio che stava riparando una botte, indossava le bretelle rosse

The cooper, one of the almost lost arts still practiced in pockets all over the world, including here in Umbria. The profession which gives its name to families. One morning I saw a cooper fixing a barrel in the bright sunshine. He was wearing red braces.
