In 2000 Hydraquip had just one Branch - in Crawley with less than 10 staff and no Mobile Hose Service. By 2010 Hydraquip had grown to become one of the largest independent fleet operators of mobile hose service vans in the UK with over 100 staff. Hydraquip has grown organically and by acquisition with the most important aspect of the acquisition process being able to gain and retain experienced and knowledgeable staff and then progress their branch or business area with the Hydraquip recipe and focus on customer service. Our intention is to keep this process going and we have not sat on our laurels during the recent economic crisis, four new business outlets were created by either new ventures or acquisition early in 2010.
Hydraquip will selectively continue to grow its business where it can enhance value to our customers and core products and services.
If you are in a business that maybe the present owners are looking for an exit strategy, or the business is in need of investment and direction that we can provide as a larger group then its costs nothing to have an informal discussion and see if there are potential mutual benefits. Certainly times have been tough in our industry over the last few years and not everyone will survive under their own steam, consolidation has taken place in the market and we see this trend continuing with well organised companies continuing to progress and highly geared companies or those that do not have customer service at the forefront of their activities likely flounder.
