Quercus x hispanica 'Fulhamensis' (Fulham Oak) on Hampstead
Heath. This tree was pruned in a more sensitive manner than
standard: "Natural Fracture Pruning and Coronet Cutting" was
carried out to reduce the size of the crown and mimic natural
storm damage branch fractures in recognition of the form and
value of the tree. The branches were then laid beyond the
protection area to offer the roots some protection from
possible trampling
