For all students ho have completed the Upper-Intermediate class, or those who pass the placement test, we offer IELTS courses for students who wish to go to University in the UK.
Many universities are now looking for passes of 6.5 or 7.0 and many overseas students need to spend some time in the UK in preparation for the exam to achieve levels of confidence and familiarity. Prospect English Language Centre offers courses that help students with their language skills and with the skills they need to pass the exams. And what's more is that our course are far better value for money than those offered by the universities themselves.
We also provide students with the opportunity to spend time in the UK and make the choice of which university to go to once they have had the chance to visit some of those they would shortlist. Students who come to study IELTS at Prospect can be advised on the qualities of the universities they are looking at. They can become familiar with the social, leisure and sporting facilities as well as the educational record and familiarise themselves with the geographic and demographic profile of a university's catchment area.
The course, for students who start with language skills at or above Upper-Intermediate level, is for 12 weeks study of 15 hours per week. Students will be required to revise and study at home for at least a further 2 hours per day.
