Intermediate Courses
At this stage students become much more fluent and more confident with their use of the English Language. They will be very familiar with past simple, continuous and perfect tenses and will be reinforced on future tenses and modal verbs. They will be introduced to past perfect continuous verbs, defining relative clauses and non-defining relative clauses. It may sound dry but it does make the language more usable. Vocabulary is extended including subject areas such as film, sport, music, travel and the house and garden.
The coursework is lively, entertaining and relevant to students which encourages study, practice and recollection of new language.
The Intermediate course lasts for 120 hours over a 12 week period. Students with student visas, required to study for 15 hours per week, can join a conversation class.
After graduating from the Intermediate class, having attended 80% of the lesson and completed set homework, students will progress to the Upper-Intermediate class
