Sheffield Park

ACTA is preparing a conservation management plan for the National Trust Property of Sheffield Park in East Sussex. It is listed as grade I on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens of Historic Interest and is of international significance as a woodland garden.

 Recently a major part of the original estate, South Park, was acquired by the Trust. ACTA has undertaken investigation into the history of the park and garden through documentary research, map regression and LiDAR. Archaeological and ecological surveys have also been carried out on the whole of the park and garden.
