Bump Stops

These are rubber buffers produced to limit the static and dynamic movements of a moving mass. A typical application is the control of Railway Bogie Traction Centre movement. However, there are many general applications where rubber is used to limit movement and cushion shock loads. e.g. Door stops.    

The nose profile is designed to produce stiffness progression and at the same time meet the dynamic loads generated by the vehicle movement.

Effective solutions are achieved through good profile design and the experience acquired over many years. Static and dynamic movements and the number of applications are taken into consideration when considering product life.
