CONFLICT MANAGEMENT TRAINING COURSES
The Conflict Management course will benefit individuals, teams and organisations by providing students with the understanding and ability to manage conflict situations without resorting to physical intervention, learning through the use of body language and human nature. Using a variety of training methods, including short lectures, exercises, and role plays, this course is designed to be highly informative, interactive and relevant to everyday working situations.
Task Conflict Management Trainers are experienced operators and have varied backgrounds, including both the Public and Private Sectors, Police and Military. It is the only programme to deal with physical violence and teaches acceptable breakaway and restraining techniques as well as the psychological input to defuse verbally aggressive people.
The Conflict Management Courses vary in length from 1 to 4 days dependant upon the level of qualifications required and are relevant to the following:
Door Supervisors, Venue Managers, Bar Staff, Security Officers, Events Stewards, NHS (Hospital Staff), Office Environments, Youth and Custody Workers, and Social Workers.
Courses
The basic Conflict Management Course is a 1 day course attached to a Security guarding or Door Supervisor Course. Other courses can be accommodated on consecutive days, or spread to allow for rostas, days off etc., shorter courses can also be completed for those clients with specific needs. Successful candidates are awarded with the Skills for Security (SITO) Certificate in Conflict Management, which allows individuals to apply for an S.I.A. license.
