There are strict rules controlling the right to work in the UK. Mediplacements
can put you in contact with experts that can help you to negotiate a path
through the regulation system, helping you to get the permissions and papers
you need to work in this country as part of a holiday or for a more extended
period of time.
The following details are meant as basic guidelines only. If you need further
information please contact your medical specialist team-leader or consultant.
They will be able to forward your query to our visa advisers.
Working Holiday Visas are available for people between the ages of 17-27
inclusive. The visa entitles them to work either as part of a short holiday
or an extended visit lasting no more than two years, prior to settling down
in their country of origin.
Certificates of Entitlement to the Right of Abode are mainly available to
Commonwealth citizens who are British Citizens by birth, adoption or
registration or are descended from a British mother or father. The Certificate
gives the holder permission to live and work in the UK for any length of time.
