Nigel founded CML in 1985, specialising in commercial real estate investment advisory to a group of institutional investors that CML still advises to this day. CML instigated the acquisition of Retirement Villages in 2005.

Michelle joined CML in 2009 taking over the role of Finance Director in 2012, having begun her career and trained with Nestle UK. Michelle is a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
