Chichester and the surrounding area is a wonderful place to live. A new study by the research company MORI has ranked Chichester as one of the top three places to live in England according to appearance and quality of life.
Not only is it brimming with arts and culture, it is steeped in two thousand years of history – the plan and city walls date from the Roman occupation and it has splendid examples of late 18th and early 19th century architecture.
It is also situated between two areas of outstanding national beauty with the rolling hills of the Sussex Downs and the nearby coastline gifted with magnificent stretches of beaches to the south. Just a short drive away you will find many other picturesque towns and villages.
