Capital Raising

• Private Market Fund Placement
Somerset Capital's goal in our fund placement practice is to assist outstanding private market managers in raising capital from the international LP market. We differentiate ourselves through our selectivity, our access to a market leading network of family office investors, and our international reach. Some of the elements that attract us to an opportunity include an entrepreneurial team, a proven strategy, market-leading franchises, a niche market, and good alignment of interests. Client selection is on a strictly bottom-up basis. To date, we have acted as international placement agent on twelve completed funds with an aggregate amount of closed commitments of $6bn. These clients represent a range of strategies across private markets and are active in the US, Europe and Asia. Reference lists are available on request.

Somerset Capital works with family offices, investment management firms, fundless sponsors and management teams at identifying, selecting, investing and placing attractive private equity and real estate transactions in collaboration with our network of investors.

Advisory

Somerset Capital works on a confidential basis for family office investors in order to dispose of private market assets on the secondary market.

Somerset Capital works with family office and other investor clients on a project basis relating to a range of issues including establishment of a family office, investment strategy, asset allocation, manager due diligence and other advisory services.
