Barrow Gurney

The Barrow Guerney war Memorial has a low brick wall surrounding the stepped column of the memorial. When this became damaged War Memorials Trust contributed to its repair with a grant of £250.00.

Pensford

The Pensford war memorial cross recieved a grant of £100.00 towards the cleaning if the war memorial and the addition of a missing name. Pte Thomas Wood died on 6th June 1944, aged 33, on the beaches of Normandy but omitted from his lcoal war memorial. This was rectified so the memorial now carries the names of all those of World Wars I and II who lost thie lifes from the village.
