Our investor clients include family offices, government entities, foundations and endowments, pension funds, insurance companies, banks, specialist investment management firms, as well as these firm's consultants and advisors. We have successfully raised capital for our clients from Europe, Australasia and the Middle East.

Somerset Capital has a focus on the family office market. We have built an extensive network of over 400 family offices in Europe, the US, the Middle East and the Far East. In Europe, where the majority of Somerset's investor clients are based, we cover over half of the Forbes Top 50 family offices.

Family offices can be high value add investors, particularly for emerging managers. They typically have large private market allocations, can be early adopters, have broad and flexible investment mandates, and can make quick decisions. They can also add significant value to their managers through deal flow and introductions to other investors.

Somerset Capital aims to deliver value to its network of family offices through researching, pre-qualifying and accessing high quality investment opportunities. We seek to align our interests squarely with those of the family office investors in our network, through a rigorous selection process, seeking out opportunities of particular interest to our investor base, and through investing as principal in each of our transactions.
