Our expertise is based on a solid sales culture that is able to deliver results, whilst anticipating the needs and requirements of the education agenda. We are aware of the requirements of Ofsted and focus our employer engagement activity on improving the quality of placements as much as the quantity.
The challenges of the 14-19-implementation plan will be as much based on project management and continuous improvement, as it will employer engagement. Highly effective project management must support the key to a successful work based learning initiative, selling to local businesses to establish quality work experience placements.
Schools and colleges have more competencies that they often realise to engage with employers and obtain the best for their learners. Like all outsourcing opportunities, 2 core issues needs to be questioned. Firstly, is this activity a core competence for the future direction of our college and secondly is it more cost effective to outsource this activity or keep it in-house.
Not all activities should be outsourced and any decision needs to take into account some of the lessons learnt form IT outsourcing in the past decade. Especially the fact that outsourcing does not warrant cutting the entire internal competency a college or school may have. In short it is necessary to keep some internal competency to be able to manage the outsourced function. These and many more considerations need to be taken into account before embarking on any partnership but issues we are more than happy to discuss with you.
