David Maslen After an exceptional career with one of the largest corporate estate agencies in the country, David set up his own agency in 1999. His unrivalled understanding of local market forces and detailed knowledge of the wide variety of properties available in Brighton & Hove has enabled David to create one of the most dynamic, customer focused estate agencies in the local area.

David is widely considered to be at the forefront of innovation and service within the estate agency sector, he publishes a weekly column in Latest Homes Magazine and is currently the Treasurer of the Brighton & Hove Estate Agents Association.

Ben Hawley, Senior Negotiator
	Joining Maslen Estate Agents in May 2002 as a trainee negotiator and after several promotions, Ben has already progressed his way up to his present role as a Senior Negotiator. Ben provides the highest levels of Customer Service, and is constantly looking at ways to further this within the business. Ben has successfully completed his NVQ Level 3 in Estate Agency and passed his final exam in the National Association of Estate Agents technical award in February 2006.
Andrew Mercer, Trainee Negotiator
	Andrew joined us in the Summer of 2004 as an Office Junior, straight from school, having successfully passed all of his 9 GCSEs. He is very keen to pursue a career in Estate Agency and since working with us, has attended intensive in-house training courses. Andrew was promoted to Trainee Negotiator in September 2005.
Martin Young, Trainee Negotiator
	Martin joined Maslen Estate Agents in December 2005 after completing 2 years at college studying Business. He is now pursuing a career in the estate agency industry. Martin is currently attending training with our in-house staff trainer Gill Johnson.
Richard Salt, Trainee Negotiator
	Richard joined us in September 2006 after achieving a 2.1 BSc in Business from Bath Spa University. Richard comes from a very strong family background in the property industry and is looking forward to a long and successful career with Maslen Estate Agents. Richard is attending our intensive in-house training with Gill Johnson
Janette Burchett, Office Co-ordinator
	Janette joined Maslen Estate Agents in March 2004 as Office Co-ordinator, providing secretarial support to the office, administrative support to David and taking an active role in the office marketing. Janette has worked in estate agency for over 12 years and has a wealth of customer service experience, which will be a huge benefit to Maslen Estate Agents.
Keith Larsson, Independent Financial Adviser
	Keith has been in the financial services industry for over 20 years, providing on going advice for clients. His speciality in mortgages allows him to provide a fantastic mortgage/financial advice service and he has been based at Maslen Estate Agents since November 1999.
Ann Wardle, Assistant to Independent Financial Advisor
	Ann joined in July 2004 as administrator to Keith Larsson. Her role is providing Keith with admin backup and support relating to mortgages and financial services, having gained extensive experience in similar positions.

WOODINGDEAN TEAM

Nicholas Wall, M.N.A.E.A., Manager
	Nick started his career in Estate Agency working for a large corporate firm in the centre of the city in 1997. He began as a trainee negotiator and has worked for David Maslen since the Lewes Road branch opened in January 1999. Nick has worked his way up to his current role of Manager of the Woodingdean office and is committed to first class Estate Agency and Customer Service. He achieved an NVQ level 3 in Estate Agency in 2002.
Natalie Jenkins - Office Junior
	Natalie joined us in June 2006 after completing 3 years of college studying Travel and Tourism, Maths, Physics and World Development. She has also been involved with the air cadets for almost four years, where she completed a gliding scholarship in March 2006. Natalie originally wanted to pursue a career with in the piloting industry however she found that the Estate Agency Industry would be more exciting. Natalie is currently attending training with our in-house staff trainer Gill Johnson.
Lisa Morrison – Office Co-ordinator
	Lisa joined Maslen Estate Agents in May 2006, having worked for a number of years with Independent Financial Advisers specialising in investments and mortgages. She has a genuine interest in the property market and through the Company training programme hopes to develop her skills and knowledge in estate agency.

WHERE WE'RE GOING

Maslen Estate Agents has grown significantly in size over the last few years and has become well established in the local area dealing with all aspects of flat and house sales. With regards to the longer term we are expanding our team and investing time, effort and money into recruiting, training and retaining our people, so as to be able to continue to provide a superior level of service and expertise.

We have recently completed the purchase of two further freehold office buildings within the City of Brighton & Hove, which will further strengthen our position as one of the leading independent estate agencies in the area. These offices will be opened in line with our business expansion plans. We aim to open the first one in early 2008 and the second office will open a couple of years later.
