Many times friends and colleagues have commented
that under commissioned briefs there is a tendency
for a photographer to be too celebratory and not
always manage to take the record shots as well as
the promotional celebratory ones. It is with these
comments in mind that this selection has been chosen,
but not all of them were taken with that in mind,
some were taken just for the fun of taking them, so
are at the other end of the spectrum
On San Andres, Columbia Caribbean. Two days previously there
had been torrential rain and significant flooding. This floodwater
had sought passage to the sea and had destroyed large sections
