The reasons for taking any photograph are many and
various and sometimes something about a photograph
can make it one of the photographer's favourites.
Many times it is the memories associated, but occasionally
it can be because something has happened with the
photograph since then
This chap was in the warren of old streets that make up the
Shambles in York, mooching around the interior of this upstairs
room above the chocolate shop. It took quite a while of willing
him to come to the window before he did, his shabby chic jowels
echoing that of the window out of which he looks
