Favourites
The reasons for taking any photograph are many and
various and sometimes something about a photograph
can make it one of the photographer's favourites.
Many times it is the memories associated, but occasionally
it can be because something has happened with the
photograph since then
While it appears this shot was taken in a wide open view, in
fact the lad was sitting between two buildings and excluding them
required a fair amount of zoom. This is taken from fairly old
Panama looking across to new Panama City and is a favourite
because it was the winner of the subject category of the first
photographic competition that Amanda Davey entered -
Reflection was the category and the title given to the photograph
is Reflection in Old Panama. It was also one of those photos
that seemed to 'work' right from the moment the shutter went
