Buildings
There are some highly inspirational buildings around the world
and some 'around the corner'. Some have significant historic
events attached to them, others have just been there for a
bit minding their own business
The mosaics inside the Cathedral on the Spilled Blood
in St Petersburg are a phenomenal achievement of art and craft.
The lighting in the building is largely natural with some memorable
chandeliers also making their contribution. Many of the mosaics are
storytelling of biblical passages, which is a contrast to other
buildings with extensive mosaics
