Joan Bennett
Joan Bennett is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and has worked as a consultant in the U.K and Continental Europe over some fifteen years. During this time she has developed expertise in Organisational Development interventions and strategies, Organisational Change, Management Development, Career Development, Executive Mentoring and Coaching, and Professional and Personal Growth Programmes.
Jointly Managed Solutions is the consultancy practice, which Joan started in December 1990 in which to promote her collaborative partnership approach to consultancy with organisations. Her philosophy is to assist organisations and individuals to develop practical solutions, which they can implement, independently using their own resources. Joan provides a balance of support and constructive challenge to assist both organisations and individuals to explore difficult situations and discover new perspectives.
Her work includes directors, senior and middle managers from a wide range of organisations; telecommunications, information technology, retail, financial services, public sector and the not-for-profit and voluntary sector.
She is a registered consultant with the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, of which Institute she is a Chartered Fellow. She has trained in both Transactional Analysis and Gestalt models for working with groups and individuals. Joan is qualified and experienced in using psychometric tests for both ability and personality.
Prior to working as a consultant, Joan worked for the Debenham Group where she took responsibility for the Management Development and Training for some 15,000 employees. Her career began in British Home Stores where she was a line manager before specialising in the personnel function. She then spent a number of years as a Personnel Manager for James Beattie, the midlands based department store group.

Monty Grigg
Monty Grigg is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has worked as a consultant in the area of human resource management for over 15 years.
He started Jointly Managed Solutions in 1990 in collaboration with Joan Bennett, in order to offer consultative services to organisations and individuals alike that would be professional, practical, cost efficient and effective. The approach has always been one of genuine collaboration with the client, seeking to assist the client to arrive at solutions that are appropriate for that particular situation and which will increase the chances of long term success.

Monty has worked across a wide range of clients, including the private and public sectors; the voluntary sector and the “not for profit” sector, where he has worked with all levels of staff, up to and including CEO’s.
Prior to becoming a consultant, he developed his career in senior HR roles within retailing, financial services and consultancy, having been initially trained in general management.
Professionally he has a BSc from the University of London; a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and, laterally, an LLM/MA from Leicester University in European Union Employment Law.
