These photographs are interesting to take in a different
way, for the need is to explore the reasons for why a
feature is to be included in a list or gazetteer and to
record key features. Getting too clever about how
the photograph is taken can be counter-productive
and mask the reason the photograph is needed
The entrance gates to the New Tavern Fort part of the Riverside
Leisure Area, Gravesend, Kent carry the coat of arms as it was
for the Borough of Gravesend between 1635 and 1975, when it
was replaced by the Coat of Arms for the new Gravesham Borough
